We were a group of ten- consisting of two families. There was a good mix of children, youth and the grown-up people. We realize golf holidays to Florida with this group would go ahead simply having to shop golf equipment. Happily for us, we were being joined by another family for the trip. Pete and Martha have been my friends since my school days and Pete shared my enthusiasm for golf. Pete had gone on golf holidays to other places before but normally they were tragedies as his family was stranded, having nothing to do while he went off golfing. Thus many of the times he would have to give up his golf to keep his family entertained.
With our various experiences, we decided that when we plan our golf holidays to Florida, we would do it in such a manner that no one would feel jaded and we would have our share of golf also.
We could not have chosen golf holidays to a better location! We stayed at a lodge that had more than enough room for a group of ten. We had our privacy. There were 3 bathrooms plus a spa. What excited my little daughter was the well-preserved swimming pool.
Because Martha was not interested in golf, she, with the older children, was in-charge of the rest of the group. There were several superb places to go shopping and Martha and the kids-children were kept busy while we set to playing some serious golf. My wife had a small injury and so could not play golf the next day. But there was never a dull moment as we enjoyed the golf holidays to Florida. There is an amusement park close by and the women and children set of for the park the next day. They had so much fun that they did not miss us one bit!
Our golf holidays to Florida were few great days of my life. We plan to go on golf holidays to dissimilar places every year now. My eldest daughter is showing a lot of interest in golf, so we will have to buy golf tool for her quickly. She might join us in the golf session when we go on golf vacations to any place next time.
